Happy 2026, y’all! As we find our groove this January, we’re remembering some of the highlights of 2025 that we celebrated here at Elyson. Our Brookfield Residential team grew again, and we had a lot of homeowners join the family, too! Here are a few of our favorite highlights:
New Neighbors

New Team Members
Behind every great neighborhood is a great team. In 2025, Brookfield Residential added 10 new roles, supporting local jobs and expanding our ability to bring our community to life. We’re proud to have Nadia, Jami, Paul, and Charles on our sales team and Javier, Chris A., Chris S., Jacob, and Ryan on our construction team.
New Benchmarks

New Parks
As a community, Elyson grew its green space, opening Speedway Park, a thrilling new amenity for the scooter set. We also announced that Ember Park and Adventure Point will be opening this year. Each of our parks has its own unique personality and things to do, so we suggest you try them all.
New Neighborhoods
Homebuyers are loving Elyson’s brand new section located off Peek Road featuring seven new Brookfield Residential floor plans on 40’ and 45’ lots priced from the low $300,000s. This neighborhood is surrounded by recreational amenities and natural open space, including 64-acre Compass Lake and Crescent Park, offering kayak launches, a trail, restrooms, and other features.
New Schools
This year, Boudny Elementary opened here in Elyson within walking distance of many Brookfield Residential homes, honoring longtime Katy ISD educators Al and Ann Boudny. In addition, our newest neighborhood opened with zoning to Cy-Fair ISD, which has an overall A grade from Niche and is ranked as the No. 2 Best School District in Harris County and the #1 best district for athletes.
New Awards
Our Brookfield Residential team had an amazing time celebrating the best in homebuilding at the 2025 GHBA PRISM Awards, and we’re proud to share that we brought home several honors, including Production Builder Home Design – $400,000 to $500,000, Model Home Park Design – Developer (Elyson), and Senior Marketing Professional – Developer: Heather Gustafson! Many thanks to our incredible team — their dedication, hard work, and teamwork make all the difference, and we truly enjoy working together every day.
New Ways to Give Back
Our Brookfield Residential team is used to building full-sized homes, but in 2025 we volunteered with the Houston chapter of Habitat for Humanity to help build playhouses for local underprivileged children through the organization’s playhouse program. These bright and colorful playhouses are not only given to kids in need but also to active military and Veteran families as well as to local nonprofits throughout the community.
