2024 Highlights:
A Year of Growth & New Beginnings
Happy 2025, y’all! As we try to stay warm this January, we’re remembering some of the best moments that 2024 brought to us here at Elyson. Our Brookfield Residential team grew, and we had a lot of homeowners join the family, too! Here are a few of our favorite highlights:
New neighbors: We welcomed 51 new families to Brookfield Residential homes here in Elyson! You can get to know some of them, including Nancy & Remi and Raechel & Kurt, here in our News section.
New team members: We grew our Brookfield Residential team and helped the local economy with 14 new hires across all departments, including Alfredo, John, and Ryan. If you see them around the neighborhood, be sure to say hi. It’s amazing team members like these who help us deliver the highest quality products to our customers, and we’re proud to have them on board!
New model homes: In February, we opened two new model homes as part of Elyson’s new Model Village. As part of the community’s 2-day celebration, guests enjoyed live music, prizes, and tasty bites in our Norwich and Rutgers models, plus giant inflatables, a bungee trampoline, and entertainment from aerialists, stiltwalkers, and more.
New floor plans: In November, we launched two new spectacular floor plans, the Rowan and the Montclaire! With wow factors including upstairs lofts and game rooms, huge walk-in kitchen pantries, and large closets, these show-stopping traditional homes are sure to become future favorites!
New parks and amenities: Elyson as a community added even more good stuff, with the opening of Lakeside Landing, Kaleidoscope Park, and Elyson Courts, for all of you pickleball enthusiasts. No matter how you like to move your body and get out into nature, Elyson has something for everyone.
New schools: In 2024, the award-winning Katy ISD added Nelson Junior High and Freeman High School, both of which serve the Elyson Community. In 2025, we’ll be getting a new Katy ISD elementary school (still to be named!) that will be within walking distance of many Brookfield Residential homes.
New address: We’re used to helping our customers find the best places to call home, but it’s different when we have to do it for ourselves! In October, our Brookfield Residential team moved into a beautiful new corporate office. Many thanks to Office Manager Gaye McCalip who played a key role in overseeing the process and created a warm and welcoming space for our team to call home.
New opportunities: In May, our Brookfield Residential team got the chance to volunteer for our local Habitat for Humanity chapter building playhouses for local underprivileged children. Here’s to more of this in 2025.
New reasons to blush: We were pleased to close out the year with some great news: the votes are in, and our customers have placed Brookfield Houston as one of the top builders in all of Texas. Our Brookfield Houston team had really high customer service AVID Ratings for 2024.
- The top 10% of builders in Texas average a 95.7% rating on the caring displayed to their home buyers; we received a 97.8%.
- The top 10% of builders in Texas average a 94.5% rating from their customers on their overall experience; we received a 96.2%.
These are just a couple of early statistics that have been released showing the level of care and experience the Brookfield Houston team is committed to providing customers on their journey to home – we’ll have more details when the full report is released in February. And what really matters to us is what our customers say. This one from Dwight Taylor-Peay really warmed our hearts, “We love our home and even more so the quality and confidence backing it.
